Forest Loop:

Lakes, Alpine Pastures and Easy Progression

This opening ride is designed as a smooth and scenic introduction to Crans-Montana and its surroundings. Starting near Lake Moubra, the route leads through the resort before climbing progressively towards the alpine pastures via Arnouvaz and Signal, creating a day that feels varied, accessible and immediately rewarding. The terrain alternates between asphalt, dirt tracks and forest trails, offering a gentle but engaging first immersion into the landscapes above the Rhône Valley.

Beyond the riding itself, the day already introduces the regional identity that makes Crans-Montana distinctive. Stops along the way may include the Corbyre alpine pasture, where guests can discover local cheese production and enjoy a more authentic encounter with the mountain culture of the Valais. The return through Courtavey, Plumachit and Barzettes keeps the route dynamic while preserving a relaxed overall rhythm, making this first day both elegant and approachable.

Tièche Valley:

Wild Nature and High Alpine Views

The second day reveals a more dramatic side of the region, with a ride towards the preserved landscapes of the Tièche Valley and the mountain setting of Aminona. Compared with the previous day, the atmosphere here becomes more open and more intensely alpine, with wide unpaved trails, a stronger sense of elevation and impressive views over some of the highest peaks of the Valais Alps. It is a ride that gives guests a fuller sense of the scale and beauty of the region.

Although the route remains accessible by e-bike, it offers a more adventurous tone, with sections that feel wilder and more immersive. Along the way, possible stops such as Cave du Scex or Restaurant Plumachit add a welcome moment of pause within the day, allowing guests to enjoy the experience not only as a ride, but as a complete alpine outing. This balance between natural power, comfort and discovery is what gives the day its particular character.

Cultural Discovery:

Villages, Lakes and Local Heritage

After two days focused more strongly on mountain scenery, the third itinerary brings guests closer to the cultural and village life of the region. The route passes through Randogne, Mollens, Loc, Chermignon-d’en-Bas, Lens and Icogne, following quieter roads and more intimate landscapes that reveal Crans-Montana beyond the resort itself. This day has a gentler energy, but it is no less rich in atmosphere or in regional identity.

What makes this stage especially appealing is its variety: traditional villages, scenic lake areas, local cafés and heritage-rich settings all contribute to a more grounded and authentic understanding of the destination. Rather than relying only on big alpine panoramas, the day invites guests to experience the rhythm of the Valais through its built heritage, rural character and quieter corners. It is an elegant reminder that the appeal of Crans-Montana lies as much in its villages and history as in its mountain scenery.

Alpine Escape:

Wine Hamlets, Panoramic Paths and Thermal Relaxation

The final day ties together several of the region’s most appealing contrasts. The route heads towards the hamlet of Chiboz and the Randonnaz alpine pasture, where panoramic views over the Rhône Valley become particularly striking. From there, the itinerary passes through the Valais wine hamlets of Euloz and Buitonnaz, adding a softer and more cultivated dimension to the mountain experience.

This combination of alpine scenery, vineyard landscapes and traditional hamlets gives the day a particularly satisfying rhythm, at once scenic and rooted in place. The descent towards Saillon offers a more relaxed finish, with the possibility of ending the day in the resort’s well-known thermal setting. As a closing stage, it works especially well: it leaves guests with a final impression of variety, elegance and regional richness, rather than simply ending on physical effort alone.
