Lavaux:
A UNESCO-Protected Vineyard Landscape
This opening day captures one of the most elegant landscapes in French-speaking Switzerland. Starting from Lutry, the ride winds through the terraced vineyards of Lavaux, a UNESCO-protected area overlooking Lake Geneva. The route passes through emblematic villages such as Riex, Epesses, Chexbres and Saint-Saphorin, where stone walls, vines and panoramic lake views create a setting that feels both cultivated and timeless.
The day combines scenery with local flavour and architectural interest. Guests may pause in Epesses for a snack, enjoy lunch in Chexbres, and continue down towards Corsier to discover Le Corbusier’s Villa “Le Lac”, an intimate and remarkable example of modernist architecture. Later, back in Riex, the experience becomes even more rooted in place with a tasting hosted by a local wine producer. The return to Lausanne follows alternative paths through the vineyards, ensuring that the day remains immersive from beginning to end rather than feeling like a simple loop.
Lake Joux:
Swiss Watchmaking and Jura Landscapes
This day offers a very different atmosphere, shaped by the quiet beauty of the Vallée de Joux and the strong identity of the Swiss Jura. Guests begin in Le Pont, then cycle around Lake Joux via Les Charbonnières and Le Sentier, in a landscape known for its calm waters, high valley scenery and unspoilt natural character. It is one of the most distinctive settings in the canton of Vaud.
The route is enriched by two strong cultural and gastronomic moments. First comes a visit to the Espace Horloger Museum, where the region’s deep connection to Swiss watchmaking is brought into focus. Lunch can then be taken at the modern Restaurant des Horlogers in Le Brassus, associated with the world of fine watchmaking. In the afternoon, the ride becomes more alpine again, climbing towards the Jura ridges and stopping at a chalet in the Monts de Bière for a Gruyère cheese tasting before the final ascent to the Marchairuz Pass. The descent via the old Glacière road to Saint-George provides a strong and memorable finish before returning to Lausanne by minibus.
La Côte:
Vineyards, Castles and Manor Houses
This itinerary explores La Côte, the largest wine-growing region in the canton of Vaud, between Nyon and Morges. Beginning in the village of Begnins, the route follows small vineyard roads through a series of elegant wine villages including Luins, Vinzel, Bursins, Gilly, Tartegnin, Bugnaux, Bougy and Féchy. Throughout the ride, guests enjoy wide views over Lake Geneva, the Alps and, on clear days, Mont Blanc.
What makes this day especially attractive is its richness of heritage. The region is dotted with castles, manor houses and historic estates, giving the route a distinctly aristocratic and cultivated atmosphere. Lunch in Aubonne adds another layer of character, in a town known for its unusual oriental tower linked to the 18th-century traveller Tavernier. In the afternoon, the ride continues with a stop at the remarkable Aubonne Valley Arboretum, a vast and unique botanical park, before moving on through Saint-Livres, Lavigny, Etoy and Saint-Prex, whose medieval old town makes for a charming final detour before the return to Lausanne.
Romainmôtier:
Countryside Heritage Between Lake and Jura
The final Lausanne ride is broader in scope and ties together many of the landscapes that define the region: lake, vineyards, countryside and the foothills of the Jura. Guests are dropped near Vufflens-le-Château, where the day begins with views of a striking medieval castle overlooking vineyards and Lake Geneva. From there, the route follows peaceful country lanes through open farmland, villages and rolling scenery.
The ride then passes Château de Vullierens, known for its gardens, before continuing through the rural heart of the canton. One of the highlights is a short walk down to the Tine de Conflens, an impressive gorge carved by the Venoge River, which adds a more unexpected and dramatic natural feature to the day. The route finally reaches Romainmôtier, one of the region’s great heritage sites, giving the journey a calm and deeply atmospheric conclusion. It is an excellent final day because it does not rely on spectacle alone: it leaves guests with a stronger sense of the land, its rhythm and its cultural depth.

Rhône Valley:
Between Art and Wineries
This first ride introduces guests to a different side of the Verbier region, where the grandeur of the mountains gives way to the softer landscapes of the Rhône Valley. Starting from Le Châble, the route heads towards Martigny through a landscape shaped by vineyards, historic villages and river views, creating a day that already sets the tone for the journey: scenic, cultured and deeply rooted in the region.
Along the way, guests meet local wine specialists and discover some of the Valais’ most emblematic varietals, including crisp Chasselas whites and structured Pinot Noir reds, through a carefully curated tasting. The day then continues with a cultural stop at the Fondation Gianadda, a prestigious venue known for its exhibitions, sculpture gardens and vintage car collection. Depending on the preferred pace, the final return can either be enjoyed as a scenic ride back towards Verbier or as a more relaxed private transfer to the hotel.
Champex-Lac:
Alpine Lake Serenity and Fine Lunch
A landmark stop on the Tour du Mont Blanc, Champex-Lac offers a quieter and more contemplative mountain experience. Set at 1,470 metres in the heart of the Valais Alps, the village is surrounded by forests, peaks and a crystal-clear lake, creating one of the most peaceful and photogenic atmospheres of the region.
The approach to Champex can vary with the season and the chosen route, making the experience feel both flexible and tailored. In summer, riders may cross via Bruson using lifts before descending towards Orsières, while at other times the ride follows valley roads and forest tracks before climbing towards the lake. Once there, the reward is immediate: guests can enjoy the lakeside atmosphere, a possible swim, a walk, or lunch with a view — from a refined table such as the 5-star Chalet Alpin to more relaxed local options. The return offers two distinct moods: one route through La Garde and Sembrancher for a more scenic and traditional alpine feel, and another via Bruson / La Cot for those seeking a more dynamic finish with exhilarating descents.
Val de Bagnes:
High-Alpine Landscapes and Wild Nature
This is the day when the journey shifts into something more dramatic and memorable. Riding into the high Val de Bagnes, guests follow the impressive road from Le Châble towards the Mauvoisin Dam, passing through tunnels carved into the rock and landscapes that feel increasingly remote, mineral and powerful. It is one of those routes that immediately conveys the scale of the Alps.
Beyond the lake, stronger riders can continue even further towards the Cabane Chanrion, a mountain hut recently renovated and set against a stunning glacier backdrop. The day is not only about scenery but also about wildlife and atmosphere: it is possible to spot ibex, chamois, golden eagles and, with a bit of luck, even the vast silhouette of a bearded vulture overhead. The roads remain generally quiet, which makes the ride feel both immersive and serene. After the ascent, the return becomes pure pleasure, with a long downhill section back towards Le Châble, making this one of the most satisfying and cinematic days of the whole programme.
Great St Bernard:
A Legendary Alpine Pass
The final day brings together everything that makes this journey distinctive: history, altitude, alpine heritage and exceptional scenery. Rising to 2,469 metres, the Great St Bernard Pass is one of Europe’s most legendary mountain crossings, linking Switzerland and Italy and carrying centuries of stories, pilgrims and travellers through the Alps.
At the summit stands the iconic Great St Bernard Hospice, founded in the 11th century by Saint Bernard of Menthon. More than a historic stop, it remains a living place of welcome and continuity, where guests can explore the monastery, chapel and traditions that have shaped this pass for centuries. The route itself begins in Bruson, following quiet forest roads and gradually climbing into a world of pines, open mountain views and increasingly dramatic scenery. By the time guests reach the hospice, the experience feels far bigger than a ride: it becomes a true passage through the cultural and spiritual history of the Alps.
