Christine

Tour Guide

When you’re fortunate enough to live in such a beautiful country, surrounded by mountains, lakes, and history, sharing it feels only natural.

After a career in sales, I trained for the wonderful profession of guiding, and for nearly 20 years now, I have had the privilege of meeting wonderful travelers from many different countries and introducing them to the country I love.

Switzerland, though small, is remarkably diverse, offering a fascinating blend of history, culture, and spectacular landscapes. It is always a true joy to reveal to visitors from all backgrounds these different, sometimes surprising facets, as the complexity of our country hides in countless details while peace remains its constant guiding value.

One principle drives me above all: adapting to each traveler’s needs and wishes, to offer them an unforgettable experience.

Jutta

Certified Tour Guide

My name is Jutta. I was born in the three borders region of Switzerland, Germany and France. Before I changed to the tourism sector, I worked in an international bank in the Private Banking sector for 15 years. When my two daughters (now 19 and 17) were born I stopped to work, brought them up and completed a guide training with Lucerne Tourism.

I am a certified official guide in German, English, French, Spanish and Portuguese. It was important for me to choose an activity in which I could combine my love for people, languages, history, botany, ornithology and sports.

My strength are to connect with people, create a nice atmosphere and bring people together. I am very outgoing and like to communicate with people. Whilst in the maintime I guide in Switzerland, I am also guide in several countries abroad, such as Costa Rica, Madeira, Algarve, Mallorca and La Réunion.

Laika

Certified Tour Guide

With over 25 years of experience in art and communication, and more than 10 years as an official heritage guide in the UNESCO-listed Lavaux terraced vineyards, I lead immersive and memorable vineyard experiences designed for curious travellers. Passionate about medieval history, local wines, and gastronomy, I guide visitors through the spectacular Lavaux landscape and the charming city of Lausanne set on the shores of Lake Geneva. Sharing stories, hidden details, and centuries-old know-how. I like to set each tour as an engaging journey through wine, history, and culture, bringing the past and present of French-speaking Switzerland to life.

Marcel

Certified Tour Guide

Born in Schaffhausen, just next to the Rheinfall, the biggest waterfall in Europe. I worked 25 years as a Graphical Designer for a famous newspaper in Zürich. Due my language skills, my travel experiences and the love for my beautiful country, I decided to change my devotion and dedicate my life to be a tour guide for Switzerland.

Soon I found out, that my humor was a great advantage in this field of work.
In the summertime my main hobby is to go hiking in the lovely Swiss mountains. To explore regions off the beaten track, where I can regenerate and enjoy the quietness of nature. In winter I love to go skiing in the white arenas and to do snowshoe walking on virgin snowhills.

See you soon in Switzerland!

Veronique

I’m Véronique !

Married, mother of a 22-year-old son, and resident of Crésuz, in the Gruyère region. And for me, it’s obviously the most beautiful village in the world… but let’s not spread that around too much!
My professional background is quite varied: florist, social-professional counselor, mountain guide… and a few other experiences that have all added something to my journey.

Today, it’s in Gruyère, at the heart of my region, that I love to guide you.

I love the mountains for their landscapes, but above all for everything they make possible: taking your time, discovering, sharing, connecting, and marveling.

It’s about showing you a different side of Gruyère, through its landscapes, its heritage, its traditions, but also all the little stories and anecdotes that give our region its charm and identity.

Because being a mountain guide, to me, isn’t just about showing you the way. It’s about sharing part of the journey with you, in good spirits, at the pace of footsteps and encounters.
