A unique moment in Basel's winter
Prepare to be swept away by the infectious energy of Basel’s Carnival, a vibrant celebration that transforms the city into a kaleidoscope of colors, music, and revelry. From February 20th to 25th, 2024, the streets come alive with a mesmerizing spectacle of parades, masked figures, and traditional Guggenmusik bands. (Swiss traditional music band, that only parade during this period of the year)
You will walk in the streets with a magical glow, and admire the intricate costumes of the masked figures, each with their own unique story to tell.
